midyears week

Oh yes. Oh gosh. Midyears are like finally over.

How did it go?

Well, they were as nice and lovely as Dorles Umbridge if you read Harry Potter.

They are as nice as Madam Tai if you were in Northland Secondary last last year.

They are nice as Miss Choong when she flew into a temper if you were in Nanyang Junior College.

Well, it pretty summarises how my papers went.

Oh, and if you don't qualify in the three catergories, it went bad. :)

A'level Chinese Oral examination today. It sucked. The bloody stupid female examiner was shaking her head, vigorously when I walked out of the classroom.

Then went to the library to wait for them. Then went off with Wei Ling, Novell, Bao Zhu, Sheryl, Fei Fei, Samuel and Kevin. I initally wanted to go to Cineleisure to buy flip-flops. But they say Plaza Singapura got Ripples. So we went there. :D

I'm happy, because I got my slippers. :D

Then I went off, and show my parents. They were not the least interested. The most attention I got was this:

Me: Daddy, see! I bought slippers!
Dad: Oh. How much?
Me: Ten bucks.
Dad: (no response)
Me: Very nice right? Sunflowers!
Dad: (snorts) Come, I see. (after examining) Hmm. Go market can get for
$2.
Me: NO lor! This slippers is hard kayy.
Dad: (snorts even louder)

What an unappreciative Dad I have. Lol.

I am so dreading LTC. :(((((( I was supposed to go for a short trip to Malaysia tomorrow. But now, we got to set off earlier. Cos I've got to be in school from 7.30am to 12.30am for the briefing. This better be fun. Grrrrr.

bad saturday

ohmygosh. i didn't study much, at all today!

i woke up at 11am, slacked around till 1pm plus. picked up econs, read through it. picked up enthalpy (chemistry) and read.

i figured i can't concentrate in my room, so i went downstairs.

and ended up falling asleep on the sofa!

my whoooole afternoon wasted. :/

and to top it up, i don't like enthalpy, at all.

bleeehh. i want school to start, i don't want school to start.

saturday out

Okaaaaaaaaaaay. The issue was resolved. We just, grow up from it. It's all experience. But we'll quarrel again, sometime ... later. :D

I've gotten use to not addressing the parents when I got home or they got home from somewhere. :/

Oh yes. :D I finally met up with my primary school gang! Yes yes, it had been four long years. Time flies, doesn't it? Ok. I'm speaking like some senior citzen reminizing on her long distant past.

Anyway, the people are still, pretty much the same. Of course, changes. :D

There's Jiamin, she've grown so so much prettier. I couldn't recognise her when she came to join us when we're standing in a group at a corner waiting for her. Lol. Because she talked to Constance first, I thought she is some friend of Constance. But it's our dear Jiamin! Makeup, contact lenses, double eyelids... :D

And there is Hui Hui. :D She never change much. Still the same old Hui Hui, except, for the glasses. Haha. What do you expect of me? Six years seeing her without specs, her reluctance to wear specs, and now, specs. Lol. Okay, I'm crapping.

Constance Constance. That poor girl. Injured! On the first day of OBS. And it's because of her, we're stuck at Yishun. Haha! But whatever, as long as I see the girls, it's alright. :D I remember, I also could not recognise her when I saw her afer three years (I met her in Sec 1) when i saw her outside AJC.

Okay. I suck at recognising people from my memory. :D

crap!

Today was totally, not worth living at all. well, worth it in a way. I enjoyed making my family worry, yes.

And I was reminded that I was at severe loggerheads with my brother this past few days. and I'm not making, and am not interested in patching things up.

My parents stood at the side of my brother, which made me super pissed off. Thus, I went to bed on an angry note yesterday.

I woke up today, still feeling angry. I left the house, alone. on the bus to school, my father called me, which made me further pissed off. Because last night, I so politely told my mother that I don't want to go to school with my father.

Training was okaay.

Of course, I went home after that, although I got three-quarters of my mind to stay out. But I didn't have my notes, and I can't do anything constructive outside either.

I chose to ignore my mother, and my brothers for the rest of the day. I chose to switch off the computer, and not use it for the whole day until now. I chose to study.

And what response do I get?

My father sat me down to talk to me.

"Cannot study don't study now lor."
"I know you have problems in your studies. want to tell me so I can help you?"
"You are being very weird today."
"You have problems isit?"
"Tell me lah, so I can help you."
"Not wanting to use the computer the whole day is abnormal."
"Your friends no need contact you meh?"

To the point which I so reluctantly answered.

"Cannot. Exams coming. Must study."
"No problems. Even if I tell you, how can you help?"
"Where got weird."
"No."
"No problems how to tell."
"Last time I use computer the whole day you not happy. Now I don't use, you also not happy."
"There's such things as handphones. And you said before, MSN is a waste of time."

Such irony.

And I'm not asking for help, or advice , or whatever crap either.

Cool. For the whole day, my mother has been trying to talk to me. And most of the time, I gave her one word (or one sound) answer. And just, she went into her room without nagging at me.

And yes, I'm in quite a foul mood today. No questions asked. But I wouldn't mind sharing. Ask me if you want to.

studies

I feel so sucky right now. I'm way off schedule, and midyears are to start in two weeks time!

And where have the brilliant me got to so far?

Chemistry: mole concept -which i'm still really having difficulties in, redox, atomic structure.
Biology: cell structure - which i took so long to complete.
Economics: none.
Math: series, binomial theorem.

I sucked. :( My studies sucked. And with PW also, I am seriously screwed.

A'levels is so not O'levels. One can enter an O'level examination hall with just going through the notes briefly. One can die entering an A'level examination hall with just reading through he notes once thoroughly. Who says life after O'levels is easy can just seriously go die.

Who wants to repeat JC1? I don't want to, I'm not going to.

genting; ipoh; singapore

ohmygod. in the short span of four days, i can't believe how much i miss the security in singapore.

well, the scare's in ipoh anyway. we reached ipoh on friday afternoon. of course, we went ipoh not to stay in the hotel. so we went out and walked. we walked to a nearby shopping centre. we're all in a bad mood then, maybe because it's mid afternoon and it's hot. so i didn't really take notice of the people around me.

then when we reached the shopping centre, mother told us that two men were following us till we reach the shopping centre. ohmygod. it explained why i kept turning back to look at people when we walked back to the hotel.

genting was more, un-eventful. the themeparks were quite boring. i've reached the age limit. gentnig themepark don't quite appeal to me anymore. anyway, i finally tried all the thrilling rides i said i wanted to try last year. :)

we went to the bowling alley on thursday. we started with four games, but father bought another seven more games. and i still can't bowl for heaven's sake. :/ i'm so going bowling again.

we ate alot on this trip. A&W and all those food in ipoh. ipoh is for getting fat. there is absolutely no nightlife, only nice nice food. :/

reached back at 10pm last night. went to grandma's place. reached home at midnight. somowhow, i slept at 4am. and woke up at 10am.

my studies are lacking behind. somebody save me. i can't get bio into my head. and i STILL can't get mole concept, the basic-est of all basics.

and to the person i've IM-ed late last night. please get back to me if you're reading this. you know who i'm talking about. i won't blog about this if it isn't affecting me. remember our pact?

0704 BBQ; changi airport

we had a 0704 BBQ on sunday. met up with a few others earlier to buy stuff for the BBQ. then we slowly made our way to the pit. some took sulin's dad's van with the stuff there first.

waited for a few more people, then we made our way there. not many people, but it was nice. finally, having time to, well, enjoy.

we sat on the beach, looking up at the stars, enjoying a moment of quietness, thinking. :))

hitched a ride from shin shin's parents. they dropped us at cityhall. :)

we did our project at changi airport yesterday. i was supposed to meet the group at 1.30pm. and at 1pm, i just boarded the bus at yishun. in the end, i was the second to reach.

had fun talking to huiling about the supernatural. :)))))

going to malaysia tomorrow. till sunday. i'm so going to miss out on alot. PW, 4EB gathering (?), classes. :/

PW; sucky saturday

went to do project work on friday. with sheryl and kevin. we took quite some time to decide on our lunch venue, from pastamania, to billy bombers and finally to yoshinoya.

went to national library. went to all the reference sections. lol. we laughed quite abit there, because of some website thingy sheryl and i were discussing, and how kevin greeted his friend who was siting beside sheryl who was beside me and i'm beside kevin. lol.

went to walk around bugis street afterthat. shopped around, but didn't buy anything. lol.

at night was bad bad. luckily, weiling and shawn cheered me up. ahaha! thanks!

today was bad bad bad. was in a bad mood for an entire day. i muttered less than 10 sentences for the whole entire day.

and i only ate breakfast and dinner.

dinner was outside. and i'm havign serious cramps. :(

night on msn was better. haha!

study study study! today was pretty much unconstructive. :( booooo.

ps. today means saturday. i realised, it's past midnight! lol!

my vesak day

in previous years, i would normally spend this day, praying at the thai buddhist temple up on the hill at bukit merah, near the singapore general hospital.

but not this year.

had breakfast with family. then they drove me to school for training. i wouldn't say training was tortorous. i need to improve, alot. and my shuttle run has got to improve too.

training ended late. called daddy. went home with family. lunched, bathed, out of the house. trained to somerset to meet SG9. :D

and i was down at the platform, after coming out of the train, calling diydiy and joycelyn. and when i went up, they commented on how slow i was. :/

some of them went to get tickets. the rest of us stayed to wait for more people.

some came. then most of them left for the cinema first. i waited for joycelyn to pass her teacher something. :)

we were late entering the cinema. the movie already started. so we kind of missed the first part, about the execution or something. and worst. because we were late, we just sat at any empty seats. the we as in jiabao, chuan and me. then these three people came and said that that were supposed to be their seats! so we said sorry and ran down the steps, across the theatre, all the way up to our seats! so embarrassing!

the movie was great! :D

after the movie, we took, i think, more than half an hour on deciding where to eat. (camwhoring inserts.) we finally decide on fish and co at glass house. ordered, and shared seafood platter for two with wensi, jiabao and xinhuan. :))

played truth or dare in the meantime. and i didn't answer my question at all. they helped me answer. wth. lol. embarrassing.
