the weekend

darn. it's a boring weekend. i thought maybe i could meet up with chrise, sylvia and shiwei today, but, something just have to crop up.

had to wake up early to go to the temple this morning (not that i'm complaining). my brother won this scholarship thing, and went to take his prize money. it's the same as the edusave scholarship i collected from the CC. we had to stay for the whoooole thing. and the guest-of-honour was close to an hour late!

after that, we went to the temple-on-the-hill. it's a thai buddhist temple, the one i normally go. after that, we did a quick stopover at my grandaunt's place.

funny thing. about one or two years ago, i did seriously consider switching to being a free-thinker. and i went around telling people, "hey, i'm a free-thinker". but right now, i feel proud that i'm a buddhist. and just like how christians go to church, i go to temples. (:

sigh, a long day tomorrow. and i seriously think i'll be going to school myself. but nvm, attractive dates this week! finally, a meetup with shuyan and xiuli! (: on thurs. and maybe one more. presents presents! and the rest of sec school pals, on dooms-day!
