finally an update yea? :)

overall, the orientation was fun. i'm in OG 13, and it turns out my faction is blue. haha.

met novell at 6.10 in the morning. ha. turns out that by the time we reached sch, we're still late lah. but nvm one.

ice-breaker and all that stuff. but before that, we had to endure a near 3 hr talk on the floor. about subjects combination and stuff. then went abt to do those ice-breaker games. got one game is the 'husband-and-wife'. that's my favourite ice-breaker game lah. all of us stand in a circle, then a pair will come and break the circle. at the point that the circle is broken, the two people must grab the hand of the person next to them and run. so in total got 2 pairs running at one time. then the first time i dunno must hold hands lor. haha. then the guy next to me and i were like super funny lah. pple hold hands but not us.

then we attend a mass dance session. we were taught two dance, the nanyang traditional dance and the uh-dance. must have partners, preferably a male one. then my group the guys were so limited. so in the end, i danced with one guy from another grp. but i forgot who he is already. my my. stm.

went to sentosa! but before we leave we had a mass dance session. i love these sessions. :))

sentosa. my OG and two others (14 and 15) went to the ferry terminal to wait for our lunch to arrive. then while waiting, we played games. got one game is the where-is-the-peanut game. it goes something like this.

where is the peanut,
where is the peanut,
where is the peanut, my friend?

then the other team will answer. for example, like this.

in the toilet,
in the toilet,
in the toilet, my friend.

lol. it's super funny lah. we dragged until toilet paper brand and shit. then there's another grp a little further away. they eating chicken rice (poor things. haha.). it's coincidentally, novell's group lah, then they were so angry. haha. cos they eating, then we were singing shit. haha. then there's one time we answered like this:

haha. cos we don't know what the other group is singing.

alrights. so we went all the way to siloso beach for lunch. our pizzas arrived! after lunch we started our games. sentosa race.

got one station was where we have to take 10 photos with 10 different tourists. then we got to take one pic with this really hot caucasian guy. :X haha. my taste, so weird right? :P alright, moving on. then there's this guy from moscow. he went, "DO YOU LIKE MOSCOW?" haha.

then there's another station where we have to lower an egg from up high without breaking it. we dun want to tie our shoelaces and all that together. so in the end, we wrapped the egg in a towel, put it inside a big gulp cup (not to the base of the cup. somewhere in the middle), and threw it down. surprisingly, it didn't break. haha.

then near the end, it started raining. so we faster board a bus and went to the ferry terminal. the bus was super crowded. it's only our OG with tourists. then there's this time i was standing on the bus steps. had to alight to let the tourists alight. luckily, got someone from my OG alight with me. plus my OGL. if not they go away without me. haha. :P

fashion parade was fun! i helped design. in the end, our design seems to be like promoting coca-cola. cos there's their logo pasted on the front of the outfit. then when our 'model' came out, my group stood up and cheered, really really loudly. my ears were like- hha. but got used to it as the time goes by.

then walked out of sentosa with novell and wanlin. later wanlin went to find her parents. novell and me spent a lovely time chatting on the mrt ride home. we sat from habour front to dhoby ghaut, then to marina bay, then all the way back to yishun. and our conversation was not so private. cos the train was crowded, and the people there inside were mostly alone. so got no one to talk to. except for the pair of guys in front of us murmuring, the rest were quiet. so they had fun listening to novell and i chat. :)

reached home at 9pm. so damn tired.

3rd day of orientation. i basically forgot what we did. haha. i know we played games and all. but the part i remembered more vividly was the evening section.

we started the evening with the cheering competition. ABYSS! we were so cool! haha. but give Gaia (green) win in the end.

then afterwards we had packed food for dinner. fried rice and chicken wings. then we used plastic spoons. alot of spoons broke while trying to saw off the meat. haha. sounds so disgusting right? "saw off meat".

after dinner we had faction skits. then pyro's skit want us to cheer again. and our skit's a mixture of spongebob, patrick star, barbie dolls. your pick :) .

oh oh! pyro and abyss merged for some parts of the day. we became ARROW. haha.

and after some prize presentation, we had our disco night! before that some of us were like, "sigh. disco night. surely boring." cos i was thinking of northland's sec 3 camp and prom night style. but boy were we wrong. we were MEGA HIGH. my group started the "chu-chu train" thing. but they banned us. then we wanted to go up on stage, but they don't let us too. so we stayed near the stage. and i was wild, boy was i wild. haha. we had one last mass dance before we were dismissed. then they dismissed us at promptly 9pm.

then we gathered at the atrium to take a group photo. :) i love OG 13 lahh.

it's a saturday, and we had to go back to school for flag day. my dad sent novell and me to school! :)

flag day was okayy. my OG went to ang mo kio. we thought nobody would go. but turns out, 2 or 3 other grps were there.

my group special lah. we sat down and had breakfast. those who don't want to eat went off first. in the end we went our separate ways. shu yan and me went together. later, we arranged to meet back at the bus stop. then there were other groups there also. but funnily, no one pressed the doorbell at our stop. ahaha. so we missed it. but luckily, the next bus stop was not far away.

in the afternoon, i went to the nee soon east cc to take my scholarship. then i was like, alone at my seat. so i started smsing rui jie. haha. he's sitting in the same row as me. but i'm on the left of the hall and he's on the right.

then my turn was 0390. imagine how many pple i had to see b4 going up. saw a couple of familar faces. :) and when i took my prize from mr ho peng kee, he addressed me directly. then my dad later commented he gives people the 'personal' feeling. my dad took a prize from him before too. and mr ho drove his own car.

8/1, 9/1, 10/1, 11/1, 12/1
lessons officially start on the 8th. we report to school at 9am. :)

this week's only lectures. economics was okay. biology was infuriating. the teachers were so fierce. and scolded us like hell on the first lecture when some of us were late for 5 mins. people can get lost you know! chemistry H2 is like pure chem at O'levels. then then i catch no ball during lessons. haha. maths is the usual. i'm super blur lar.


cca bazaar was on the 10th! CO there was.. i don't know. i want to see. but wan lin was like, "dun want la!" haha. i signed up for soccer (crazy me?), outdoor activities club, tennis and squash. here the people are more mature. not like northland. seriously pull the poor sec 1 to the booth. haha.

11/1 was fun in a sense. shu yan, xiu li and i were like crapping after PE. and we called ourselves the "shortie-like-shit" gang. haha. it all started with shu yan going, "eh, this guy is handsome like shit leh!" haha. but that guy IS handsome lah. ahha.

it was raining this morning. so in school was like super messy. i saw gary ( my OG member). stayed with him for awhile while he contact the others. then cos he nvr take bio, i didn't follow him. i followed novell. turned out, i stayed with novell for the whole day. bio and math were as usual. then i sticked around with novell's OG. they are fun and great people! and anabel, who was my primary school friend whom i lost contact with, was novell's OG mate! then after econs, went back with novell and anabel.

then accompained novell while she's hunting for her file. sigh. if after we got abck our results and novell and i were posted to different schools, i will be so so sad. ha.

yay! my class is 0704. and guess what? yup, novell and i were in the same class. haha.
