the 41st national day!

we had celebrations at school on tuesday. i was unwilling to go at first. but since jesmin was going. arh. i went. :)

the day was pretty boring. first thing was those traditional uniform groups and so forth. and jesmin, shiwei and i were commenting on the postures of those in uniform. shiwei was saying, "see see. so slack. not smart at all." yeah. they were lah. but what to expect? they were in school.

then we the upper sec went back to class for a supposed classroom activity. we were supposed to design something on a piece of white cloth. but only the malay students were actively drawing away. while the rest of us rot. then the school was kind of budget this year. we don't have any decent soveniors. all we have is one packet of hershley's chocos, and those temporary national flag tatoos. we didn't take those tatoos lah. so got alot of leftover in the envelope which contained all those. then SOMEONE took half of the 41 tatoos away. say "free one might as well take". ohmygod. free also cannot like that whaaaaat. what happened between mr toh and us was funny.

mr toh: eh. you girls don't want meh?

us: don't want lah. also dunno where to put.

mr toh: you come, i try on you.

me: don't want lah. you try lah. on your hand.

mr toh: cannot. my hand too many hair.

=.= ohmygod. so lame. haha. but that's mr toh. (:

the community singing was really terrible. there was no atmosphere at all! we were like uhhuh, yeah, duh. so it was like, really, cannot make it. it was boring national day celebrations overall. so much for the last year at school.

wednesday. the actual national day. my mom dragged me out to the temple to pray. it was alright lah. then met my uncle and his girlfriend. then went to my aunt's house. on the way back home, we bought those 1for$1 durians home to make durian desert. surprisingly, it's not bad! :) yummy!

the highlights was of course the ndp parade. this year was so so nice! of course, it's kallang's last year. why did they want to demolish it? for some stupid sports hub? sigh.. goodbye national stadium. the fireworks was so so prettaye.

woke up at 6am in the morning. you must probably think i'm crazy. there's no school and why on earth did i wake up so early? weeeell, my dad took us to east coast for a morning walk.

initially thought that maybe we could ride bicycles. but the shops we passed by were not open. so we just walk, and walk, and walk. the morning air was so cool and refreshing.

oh yeah yeah. as we came out of the carpark, we saw a kitten mewing so pitifully. it's like looking for a friend, or looking for food. it was so pitiful. i really want to rush over and scoope it up. but i can't. ohhhhh. my heart went out to the little thing.

after that, we went to joo chiat there for breakfast. prawn noodels. my dad say it's famous. but i cannot taste anything special leh.

then my grandma called. told us to buy breakfast cos some relatives was visiting. sooooooo. we did. at katib there. :)

aright. time for history. prep tmr again. and results out! grrrr.
