pre-university seminar

ohmygod. these past 5 days had been one of the best period of time in my life.

and i got my SG9 to thank for. (:

i went in on monday, 21st may. although a few people from nanyang were staying in the same block, same floor as me, i was the only one that was called out when they separate us to our rooms. i'm the only one with the SLO (student liaison officers ). i was scared. am i sleeping alone?

on the way up, saw jiabao. that polytechnic girl that is 2 years older than us J1s. she asked me what room am i in? i replied her "1289!" she screamed. scared the hell outta me! haha! then she took me into our room! it was nice nice nice. a little smelly, but our home for the rest of the week. :)

went for teambuilding games. it was damn fun. and got to know the lovelies in our group. :)

then went back out for our fieldtrip to hyflux. the president, olivia lum was out of town, so we were entertained by this guy called freddy soon, the senior vice president.

went back. dinner before going of to some storyboarding workshop. was quite boring lah. :X

went back. bathed and off our room lights at 12mm. rommie and i chatted till 1am. i dozed off halfway. :D

22nd may. roomie commented how i can't find where my phone was. and that i'm deaf. lol.

6 meals. i'm growing fat. it was pretty boring today. but it was made up. (:

23rd may. it was more fun this morning. well, i stayed awake during presentations and discussion. i even went up to supposedly ask ACS(I) a question. but it was going to my turn next, the announcer said there were no time left. i got to return to my seat. -.-

did project the whole afternooooon. acted in a short short clip. with roomie the cameraman and editor and dominic the director. i looked stupid. but many thanks to roomie who edited it nicely! acted in a another clip with joycelyn, diyanah, amanda, shawn and jeremy. it was funny! we are the mad scientists. shawn and amanda the guinea pigs!

dinner, project, supper. project in the evening. they were editing. diydiy and i had nothing to do. msn-ed and youtube-d on her laptop. (: chatted 20 mins on the phone with dearie wei ling, 10 mins with mommy, 10 mins with PW group. :D i was a happy girl that night.

talked till 3am with roomie? i lost track of time. :)

24th may. it was the fourth day. we were slowly cherishing the times we spent with each other.

highlight of today was the trip to the Istana. :) shook hands with the president! diydiy went crazy. :) took pictures with nanyang team.

back to hostel. shared ice-cream waffle with shangya. (: yums. while waiting for benjamin low. haha.

went to find the rest. went to longue. played ONE round of taidee. and the rest watched Saw III. roomie and i were not that interested. we left and walked around. walked around the hostel, outside the hostel. went to find roomie's friend. sat on bench to chat. :)

went back room. bathed. diydiy came in. chatted. she fell asleep. we can't wake her up until roomie screamed "6 o'clock already!" lol! it was hilarious.

didn't chat much. both of us were tired.

25th may. the last last day. woke up late today. didn't have morning shower. rushed, packed, went down to gathering point. went for breakfast. :)

closing ceremony. it was fun fun fun! we cam-whored, played, chatted, cam-whored somemore, played, hugs. the last part was funny. cos we were closing in on a grp hug. it was madness. my arms were around roomie and diydiy. diydiy to joycelyn or someothers. they fell, diydiy fell, i fell, roomie fell. it was damn damn damn funny! haha!

went back hostel. packed up. went downstairs. putmy things outside the guys room then go up help diydiy. went back down, things were gone! chuan helped me carry my heavy stuff to the gathering point. :D

cheered a few more. it was sad, leaving them. we forged a strong strong friendship, that will not be forgotten. :)

some of us bused down to boonlay mrt station. trained home with the people. it was fun on the train. MRT rides were boring, except that one. :)

ohman. as soon as i reached home, i missed those people. as i was lying on my bed, i missed the chatting sessions with roomie and diy. i missed all this. being with them is so different from being with the rest. they are a truly great and nice bunch of people. i don't feel like i have to fit in. i'm just there. :)

SG9. i love you people. the friendships that we forged will never be forgotten. because you people, are what make me smile. :) a truly big smile! :))
