Two killed in early morning accident along Seletar Expressway

SINGAPORE : A traffic accident between a lorry and a motorcycle at the break of dawn on Saturday left two dead.

The crash happened around 6am along the Seletar Expressway, heading towards the city.

Eyewitnesses say the lorry driver was in tears as two bodies laid motionless on the road.

The 69-year-old motorcyclist and the 42-year-old female pillion rider were pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say the lorry driver who is in his 50s is assisting in investigations. - CNA

my parents were driving novell and i to school. along the expressway, we were caught in a semi traffic jam. then we drive closer in. we saw an accident. fresh accident. the motorcycle was under the lorry. my father stopped the car. the female's body was lying near the lorry, the other was just in front of our car.

my father called the police. and he was the first one to do so. at the side of the road, there were a whole group of people there watching. and none, no one called the police until my father reached there.

what the fuck lah. two people lying dead on the road, and they were just gawking? the lorry driver was in a panic and in a frenzy and whatsoever, and they were just there watching?

fucking stupid eyewitnesses.

my father managed to stop two other people. and one happened to be a policeman, and the other a traffic policeman. but daddy didn't wear his warrant card at that time.

my father said they died on the spot. their skin already turned white he say.

we left the scene.

reached school. left for NTU.

pre-u seminar was okaay. seminar group was good. they were nice.

left at 12.30pm. school bus. dismissed at school.

rushed to city hall to meet kevin and wei ling. then rushed to the cinema.

spidey 3. it was not bad.

i cried at the end of the show, not because the show was touching, but because i was reminded of the two persons.

walked around for a long time choosing where to eat. settled at billy bombers. food amount was damn huge.

went to esplanade rooftop garden after. then to clark quay. then home.

tired day.

i felt uneasy. :(

and there's tons to be done.

i feel like crying again. reality sinks in fast enough for me. two people died, in front of me.
