Passion Arts 2006..

I know I'm supposed to be on hitatus. But I just can't resist writing about Passion Arts.

21st April 2006

The day started off fine. I met Charmaine after going home and blah. We wanted to buy the leftover presents for our juniors. A few days ago, on Tuesday, we already bought some. But, we were short of some. Soon, Michelle, Huiwen, Ziai and Cheryle joined us. : ) Poor Ziai. She spent $15 on getting her hair done. :) But the effect is nice lar.

On the way to school, we met another bunch of people. Rena, Darren, Tricia etc. When we first went in the music room, Band is already there, So we just slacked around, giving presents, and putting make up. Yay! I successfully help 2 students to put on their makeup. One is Grace from scratch and touch up for Randal. :)

Dinner came a little late. But I think it's okay. Just that we're a little rushing for time later. I collected dinner on behalf of Tricia, cos she went for the speech day. So I took a total of 11 dinner sets! 6 for Liu Qin and 5 for Pipa.

After dinner, time passed really fast. Before we knew it, we're on stage. Our ex-seniors were screaming across the hall, encouraging us. :) I didn't have any stage fright. It's the ultimate first time! :) Okayy. I made a few mistakes. But not major ones. :D I love being on stage.

We then went back to the music room. A sad thing happen lar. : ( Anyway, the majority of us CO played around the music room, taking photos and such. Although we initially planned to take photos, Tricia was nowwhere to be seen. So I took loads (?) of photos with Darren and Huiwen. :)

Then the Grand Finale. It was fun. We were singing and dancing while waiting for our turn, to Tong Hua. Then when we go on stage, we were major-HIGH! Told you, I love the stage. :) WE were singing and swaying to the music. OH. I just love my counter-parts, ie, Rena, Jing, Tricia, Jia En, etc. :)

After that, we went back to the music room again. It was a solemn affair at first. Then slowly things began to liven up. Those Sec 3 committes gave us badges. And they say they didn't give us. HAHA. But hiya. They do till so obvious before. Go around saying "Sec 4s no presents leh". Too over ler. HAHA. So can guess they give presents. BUT. It's a nice surprise.

Then things started getting wet. Some of them (Okayy, including me) got teary. I just can't help it. I started crying before I can help it. The Jing came up to hug me and I cried more. Then I stopped. Then more and more people came up to me. Then Li Ting too, my best friend since Primary 2. Yes, Ting, eight years. : ( Anyway, hugged Tricia (she was fine AT FIRST) and Rena. Both of them are my two closest and bestest juniors. Rena cried upon hugging me. I was like, don't cry lar. We will still meet up. But I'm crying as I say that. :P

Then some of us Sec 4s made some speeches. Yeah. I made one too. Is it very touching? Cos I see Tricia crying and Jing looking as if she would cry. :X I'm sorry girls. :)

Hugged a few more people. Like Hui Ling, Shieh Ying, Huiwen, Charmaine, Shu Ning, Alvin Seow, Felicia (I smakced her though :P) and etc etc. My eyes are so puffy when I got away. Including now as I was updating. :X

Anyway, here's a short summary of my four years in this CCA.

Sec one. When I first went in, I was the totally quiet girl and such. (blah. I still am :P). Jie Qin, Alissa, Ziai and I formed the F4. :) We are the percussionists. It was fun in those days. People pampering us cos we're the youngest. And getting scolded very terribly by Mdm Huo.

Sec two. Older by one year. I remember being so excited at seeing those new sec ones. Cos we sec 2s are becoming seniors! Rena came in first. Before the actual coming in of sec 1s. Then Tricia and Cheryle became part of the Pipa family. Shieh Ying left us for Zhong Ruan.

Sec three. I'm not so excited by the new batch of Sec ones le. This year, I became the Treasurer of CO. HAving this post changed my life. Now, I dared to stand in front of an entire body of people without feeling scared or anything. It's like a normal thing to me. Now, I will gladly and confidently talked in front of a WHOLE group of people. I knew how to be really responsible and firm when making decisions. Thank you CO, for letting ME be the Treasurer.

Sec four. This year. I successfully passed down my duties to my successors. Li Jing and Tricia. My darling Rena became the chairman. Although there are occasional blunders, they are doing just fine. :)

Thank you you all. Tricia aka Lao ma, Rena aka Xiao Mei, Cheryle aka Lao Gong, Li Jing, Darren aka Di, Alvin aka di, Charmaine aka Jie Mei, Yi Fang aka Nu er, Huiwen, Li Ting and so so many more. I will never be able to name all 85 members of CO 2006. Love you all so so so much. :)
