Ngee Ann Experience

wow. NP was really fun! really.

not many people went to NP though. the bus novell, peijing, caiyun, sherina and i were on only consisted of about 20++ people. the other bus includes 40 i think.

well, we reached there and were bombarded by tours. we got goodie bags and a guy gave us an introduction. then we were led into their convention centre. very crowed. well anyway,as usual we went around looking for brochures. there's this mass communication brochure i wanted to take. but the person refused to cos they "had not enough". we had to read and return it!

we then went on a guided tour. not really guided. just sit on a bus and someone will tell you more about the surroundings. wow. NP's swimming pool is huge! olympic-sized. and their running tracks are blue in colour.

anyway, we stopped over at the life sciences faculty. it's harry potter themed. but pretty much lame. there's a place where you can check your BMI and blood group. i tried the BMI one. basically cos the others pushed me to. but it's okay. height 1.69m. BMI 18.5. then saw those really nice DNA pendants. but $4 each i think. so skipped that.

there's catus repotting thingy. and we went to the chemical part. there's this guy who's very urm.. hosty. he called us straight to this booth and is quite friendly. played with the 'invisible ink' part. kind of lame. then there's instant ice-cream. again, i'm the 'representative'. really nice the ice-cream. they poured liquid nitrogen. then there's one part where they poured liquid nitrogen onto biscuits. again, i'm the 'representative'. poor me i know. well anyway, the biscuit is so damn cold! my teeth hurts upon biting it. and there's smoke coming out of my mouth. so embrassing. and in front of another school of guys i don't know! and the crushing of the leaf basically. all fun! then pj got her fingers blue upon touching something.

then sat the bus and went to the business school. really noisy there. not really interested. but caiyun and sherina were.

then it's time to go home. it's 5.30pm already. novell left to meet her cousin. the rest of us went to take the bsu. suppose to take bus 61. but the free shuttle bus came first and we took that. : P mrt really crowded.

at night went to relatives' house. noisy there cos another group was there too. but don't know them. worse, no angbaos. oh well.
