genting trip and happy new year!

phew. i've been gone for 3 days and missed up on lots of stuff on the internet!

genting, thursday 29 december 2005, day 1
woke up at 4.30am. had to rushed finish my english articles. so it was badly done i can say. well anyway, the rest of the family woke up at 5am and we're out of the house at 6. a couple of mishaps happened. my dad topped up the car's petrol tank. but it's a mark away from the 3/4 tank mark. then we forgotten the camera and had to go back for it. we're going with my dad's friend and family. so we're late in meeting them.

a slight jam at the woodlands causeway. then they were waiting at the road near the sea (i hope you understand) and they followed us to the coffeeshop where we're going to have breakfast.

okayy. so here are the people who went with us.
1. uncle roger. my dad's friend.
2. aunt kina (i think). uncle roger's wife.
3. sarah (i know her name at the last day. pathetic huh? but she's pretty and quiet. ) the daughter. she's a year older than me. now at serangoon jc.
4. timothy (if i'm not wrong. i heard his name when his mother called him) a year younger than me. as usual, quite nice-looking.
5. the grandparents. :) nice people.

okayy. so we went for breakfast and then we hit the highway.

we ate lunch together at the foot of genting. it's kind of awkard, since we don't know each other.

went up, checked in. all of us were living on the 10th floor of the hotel.

so rest time. we got the portable dvd player, used for watching movies along the journey. so start it up and watched princess diaries 2.

after resting, we went to first world hotel indoor themepark. we bought the individual tickets. they were more expensive than the whole day pass. the roller coaster was not working then. so we sat the bumper cars and the motion master. the motion master was 4D. we had to wear the specs and stuff. they have air and water sprouting out from the sides of the seats. the air was a little smelly. :X

wow. we saw our relatives. my grand aunt's family. and we saw my dad's friends. a different group.

genting, friday 30 december2005, day 2
all of us met up with breakfast again. we, teenagers (which mean sarah, timothy and me) were still not talking. well anyway, we arranged to meet up at noon to sit the skyway down to the skyway station (okayy. it's abit stupid calling it skyway station. but i don't know the name). so us, my family, went to buy the thempark wholeday passes. we played at the both outdoor and indoor themepark. then when it started looking misty, we went indoors. it's kind of empty in there. we don't have to queue long. sat the roller coaster and bumper cars (again!!).

noon came and we went to the skyway. it's a cable car to those who don't know. or what they call a goronola. well, we went down there, ate lunch together and shopped. we went back up first. i brought my brothers to the themepark while my parents went back to the hotel first.

we played bumper cars ( i'm getting sick and tired of it) and then go outside to play the antique cars. it's raining.

after awhile we went back to the hotel, freshen up and went for dinner down at the mushroom farm. we have home-cooked dishes there. then back to the hotel we went. we headed for the indoor themepark and i sat the roller coaster myself. i could not bear for another round of bunper cars.

then we went t the outdoors. whew. we sat 2 or 3 rounds of the antique cars. (or known as lao ye ce) then i sat the outdoor roler coaster. i forgotten the name of it. it's so much thrilling than the indoor one. then one last round of the swing before going back.

genting - singapore, saturday 31 december 2005, day 3
ate breakfast together again. then my dad brought my brothers to the arcade while mom and i went back to the hotel room. we sat around in silence, watched tv. then at 10+am, they came back and we checked out together at 11.

we went to malacca for lunch. we finally can hold conversations together. a pity it's the last day. we ate chicken rice balls ans shopped at tan khim hock for the local snacks. then off we go back to singapore.

we came in by tuas. so at our last stop, we bid goodbye and stuff. chatted alot more. then home sweet home. :)

yup. on go 2006. they have this thing for making resolutions. but nah, i don't want to make any. what's the point? we won't fulfil it anyway. haha. :D well everyone, enjoy while you can. school's reopening. :X
